Brown & Weinraub Advisors is excited to welcome Rebecca Lamorte to the firm. Rebecca has a distinguished career in the labor movement working for some of New York’s most prominent unions – including the Teamsters Joint Council 16, Building & Construction Trades of Greater New York, and the Mason Tenders District Council of Greater New York. As a result of her work, she was featured in City & State’s 2021 Labor 40 Under 40. Rebecca is also a disability advocate and has been featured in the Emmy-nominated interactive series Inaccessible Cities and on the Tamron Hall Show. Her work has been featured in the New York Daily News, Teen Vogue, City Limits and other major publications. Rebecca serves on Manhattan Community Board 8 and is a board member of Disability Victory. Rebecca will bring her unique experience and skillset to counsel all of our clients and will be a key advisor to the entire BW team.
